We are very sorry to inform you of our decision to postpone the “Arts of Oblivion” symposium, which was due to take place in Ghent next week, because of the coronavirus outbreak. As much as we were hoping that the event could still go ahead as planned, we unfortunately have no choice but to postpone now that the Belgian government and our own institutions are taking increasingly stringent measures in an effort to contain the spread of the virus. These include cancelling large gatherings such as ours. We are looking into rescheduling the event, and will notify you of the new dates as soon as possible.
